Angela Garraway-Holland was born in Barbados in 1969. Initially, she wanted to become a dietician, it is the desire to satisfy customers that leads to the restoration.
Beginning as a clerk, she climbs the ladder until she now reaches the prestigious position of Chef at the Hilton Barbados Resort. She is considered a mentor for her young colleagues and distributes to all her treasures of knowledge.
She has won numerous awards, including the Tourism Ministry’s Chef of the Year award in 1997. Angela’s talent has also allowed her to represent Barbados on many occasions, including the “Taste of the Caribbean”. (the Caribbean taste) in 1995 and 1996, in 2013 it animates promotion operations during the Caribbean Week of the CTO (Caribbean Tourism Organization).
Its favorite ingredient is the Caribbean pepper, because it is specific to the Caribbean. It is very versatile and can be used in marinades, sauces, pickles or desserts.
